Inquiry form
When you send an inquiry, we process your name, email address, optional phone number, delivery country, message and selected products to handle your inquiry and to prepare a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We need your name, email address and delivery country to answer your inquiry; without them we cannot process it. The details are sent by email to our mailbox and are not stored on the web server — unless you agree to review requests (see “Review requests and reviews”).
Retention
We delete inquiries that do not lead to a contract no later than 12 months after the last communication. If a contract is concluded, we keep the records in accordance with statutory retention periods (usually up to 10 years).
Recipients and processors
Hosting: Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany (servers in the EU). Email: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (Google Workspace). A transfer to Google LLC in the USA is possible; it takes place on the basis of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or EU standard contractual clauses. Data processing agreements are in place with both providers.
Abuse protection
When you open the inquiry list, a technically necessary session cookie (mp_sid) is set, which is deleted when you close your browser. To protect against spam we store a pseudonymised hash of your IP address; it is deleted no later than one hour after the last request (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
No tracking cookies
This website uses no analytics or advertising cookies and loads no third-party fonts or scripts. Your inquiry list (mp_bag), language choice (mp_lang) and a dismissed language hint (mp_sugg_off) are stored only locally in your browser (localStorage) and are not transmitted to us.
Review requests and reviews
If you tick the corresponding box in the inquiry form, we store your name, email address, language and the requested products in order to send you — only after we have confirmed your purchase — one review request after 30 days and at most one reminder after 60 days (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time via the link in every such email or by email to info@mypatio.eu. These data are deleted 30 days after your review, your withdrawal or the reminder, and at the latest 180 days after the inquiry if no purchase took place. If you write a review, we publish your rating, your text, the name you entered and, optionally, your town on mypatio.eu (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR); you can have the review corrected or deleted at any time. Reviews that are not published are deleted immediately.
Anonymous visit statistics
To improve the website we count visits ourselves, without any third-party service: page viewed, referring website and actions such as opening a product, adding it to the inquiry list or sending an inquiry; the approximate country and the device type (phone, tablet, computer) are derived on our server from the language setting and browser identification that your browser sends with every request. No information is read from or stored on your device, no cookies are set, no IP address is stored and no user profiles are created. If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, nothing is counted; only daily totals are saved on our server (Hetzner, EU) and deleted after 24 months (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Server logs
The hosting provider stores technically necessary access data (e.g. IP address, time, page requested) to ensure secure operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR); they are deleted automatically after the provider's retention period.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. Write to info@mypatio.eu. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority, in particular in the member state of your residence or with the Latvian authority responsible for us (Datu valsts inspekcija, Riga).
